Capricorn-Career & Money

What appeals most to a Capricorn is to do one’s duty to the best of his/her capabilities irrespective of the circumstances. That might on some occasions mean giving up familial joy for an improvement in position or social status in the professional sphere (which is again indirectly aimed at the betterment of the family), and on other occasions mean letting go of career opportunities in order to be there for the family.

Capricorns are really loyal to their cause and have great respect for norms and traditions. This might sometimes make them lay low, when the world might think they have lost focus, but they will make that move according to plan nonetheless. They do not fear compromises and lean periods, they are accustomed to them; what they can’t bear is a feeling of having lost ground and having been unfulfilled on the long run – after all, that’s what they always strive for.

Professions such as surveying, farming and politics might interest them, as might professions related to geology and local governance. They are especially capable of making it to the top position of whatever trade they are in, and staying there in perfect harmony with the emotional demands and the internal forces of the organizations. They are actually made for the top job – they are not insecure, they are practical enough to take any kind of tough decision, they are disciplined enough to be in line and bring their subordinates in line, and they are faithful enough to the norms of the trade to work without many objections.Their only problem is that they might tend to get a little to predictable and bookish in their goings about at times; every job in every field requires some level of imagination.

Capricorns sometimes have a different kind of talent, very distinct from their line of work, or their pursued career. For example, a Capricorn may be good at playing an instrument and once in a while have a real impulse take it up as more than a hobby. In such cases, they need to be encouraged – this is what artists are made of.
